REBRANDING AN ICONIC BANGALORE LANDMARK
GD Group approached VGC to rebrand and relaunch The Solitaire, a 10 year old hotel in the heart of the city, under their hospitality arm – Great Destinations & Hotels. The hotel had done well initially but over the last three years it had lost the grandeur that it once commanded.
As the new hotel was going to have features never seen before in Indian hospitality, VGC stepped in to develop a strategic brand identity that was representative of some of these features. The brand is positioned as an affordable luxury offering and the distinct brand language spreads across multiple touch points within and outside the hotel.
