For Zarqash, VGC led the rebranding of The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore’s Indian fine dining restaurant, transforming it from Riwaz into a refined North-West Frontier dining experience. Our scope included naming, brand strategy, visual identity, and print communication, reimagining the restaurant as a contemporary cultural dining atelier rooted in craft, heritage, and modern finesse.
Inspired by the words zar (gold) and kashida (embroidery), the name “Zarqash” was created to evoke the artistry and intricacy of weaving with gold thread. This philosophy shaped the brand narrative, “Cuisine stitched with splendour,” celebrating flavours woven together with precision, fire, spice, and storytelling.
VGC translated this vision into a rich visual identity inspired by textiles, zari work, and contemporary Indian opulence, extending seamlessly across the branding and print ad.
